We had also had three burnt Imbued (2 by Blood to Water – go me), lots of dead allies (Nephandi Mages, Renegade Garou and Ossian – who kept getting back up with Heavens Gate, played by Paul). So into the final.

An odd game, given the amount of allies on it. It started badly for Steve B, as his three minions, Theo Bell (merged again), Volker and Jaroslav had to fight off six Memories of Mortality, one of which was Suddened by a cross table Steve Read. Graham struggled to make much progress against Pauls Garou, who had to mostly defend. There was a race to see who could play their Events first – with Dragonbound and The Unmasking being very popular… Steve R also struggled as his minions went down to a combination of Mages and Garou, however Barth stepped forward as his last remaining minion. Meanwhile Steve B went down, as the Memories took their toll, and Graham followed soon after. Paul could now send his Garou forward, as the Mages feared the two hand strikes for two damage. However Barth stood proud for 6 turns, using Majesty to outwit those hairy beasts. Emiliano built up, mostly by self rescuing with Antonio d’Erlette so he could do his special in the Influence Phase, before being rushed again. Barth did go down, but he had done enough, and the game ended.

Prizes were handed out, with boosters and promos for all. Steve Bloss got Lucita for merging two vampires, Andy Bennett got Theo Bell for four diablerised vampires, and a higher placing, while Emiliano got Beckett for a (temporary) hand size of 10, and a higher placing.

So ended BloodBATH 2006: Haven Uncovered, perhaps to be know as Bloodied Barth?
