Game 1
Sam Akunase > Andy Tzimbleed > Graham Blood Bros. > Steve AUS CEL PRE PRO > Paul TzimWall
Well I was stuck from the off, being between two Tzim decks, although Andys doesn’t have quite so much intercept I knew that Pauls had lots, with lots of combat. Graham was unlucky to get quite as hammered as he did – think Andy must have had the perfect start (sat in the corner by wooden dragon). This meant that for the rest of the game he was just surviving. Anyway both Tzim decks got an oust, and Steve stayed on until the end.
Andy 1.5vps, Paul 1.5vps, Steve 0.5vps, Graham 0vp, Sam 0vp.
Game 2
Andy Matata > Paul Warghoul > Graham Tremere > Sam !Nos BH Toolbox
Well this time it was Paul who got the perfect start, suspiciously sat in the same place as Andy in the first game (you wondered why I mentioned it). Anyway a Warghoul on the second turn was not pretty. However Matata bravely battered them into submission, while they battered Grahams minions into torpor. After having Beast bounce off Matata I sat back and let everyone destroy themselves leaving me to pick up the pieces and the vps.
Sam 4vps GW, Andy 0vp, Graham 0vp, Paul 0vp
Game 3
Graham Imbued > Andy !Ven Bleed > Sam Ahrimanes > Paul Anarch THA
Well the Ahrimanes ended up being a bleed sink, as Determine and Deflection came my way. Howler was burnt with a Kiss of Ra/Diablerie combo and that pretty much sank my game. However the remaining three players stalled out, with Andy being able to bloat, Paul defend, and Graham Rejuvenate…
Andy 1.5vps, Graham 0.5vps, Paul 0.5vps, Sam 0vps
Game 4 – the decider!
Sam FOR PRO > Graham Imbued > Paul Tor GB > Andy SnakeBleed
Well having the Imbued as a prey wasn’t good, as some of my cards didn’t work at all. Others were reduced in power due to the Intercept there. I also lost another minion to Andy, this time with Form of Corruption, and then being burnt to get past Camarilla Segregation – more cards that that don’t affect the Imbued. Anyway I went out, while Graham had again built up – lots of equipment, powers and events. This gave him the momentum to crush Paul and Andy.
Graham 3vps GW, Andy 1vp, Paul 0vp, Sam 0vp
Final Standings
Sam 1 GW 4.0vps
Graham 1 GW 3.5vps
Andy 0 GW 4.0vps
Paul 0 GW 2.0vps
Steve 0 GW 0.5vps
