2007 League Meet 15

<  2007 League Meet 15

Well we actually managed eight players, which is amazing, although sadly only a one off, as next Vtes meet we will be down at least three players, with Richard, Steve and Kieran all having commitments. Still, eight players! Yay!

Game 1

Paul Tremere Wall > Andy Assamite > Graham Truth of Blood > Steve ??

This was a quick game, as Paul played Smiling Jack on the first turn, and then Dragonbound soon after. Graham soon self ousted to give Andy a chance, but it wasn’t enough and Paul took the rest of the vps and the game win.

Paul 3vps GW, Andy 1vp, Graham 0vps, Steve 0vps.

Game 2

Sam !Brujah Toolbox > Richard Tremere Gargoyles > Kieran CEL THA > Stevan Toreador toolbox

A slower game for us, with everyone getting a chance to build up. However as the pressure built the cracks began to show, and Richards deck seemed to be lacking real smack down, as Kierans combat, and my Weighted Walking Stick took their toll. Richard went out, and it was down to three. Stevan managed to get some sneaky bleeds through, while I Mind Numbed Kieran to do the same to him, however Kierans combat started to get into gear, while Stevan and I struggled. Kieran ousted Stevan, and it was now a race. I went forward, but got repeatedly battered into Torpor, indeed as time was called I had one vampire and Mylan Horseed.

Kieran 1.5vps, Sam 1.5vps, Richard 0vps, Stevan 0vps.

While this game was finished the other table played with the 3rd Ed precons, I don’t know the result, other than Andy was ousted while playing the !Brujah. Once that was settled we sorted out the third game, for which we had six players, as Stevan had to go home, and I sat out.

Game 3

Steve Black Hand > Kieran CEL THA > Richard !Brujah Vote > Paul Tzim Warghoul > Andy Black Hand Experiments > Graham Tzim Bleed.

At first it looked like we would have three Tzimisce decks, as Andys first minion was Piotr Andreikov, although as time went on it was clear that it was the Black Hand aspect that Andy used. Indeed there was no contesting despite the two group 2/3 Tzimisce decks. Graham hammered into Steve with multiple Fiendish Tongues, which meant that Steve did little for most of the game other than defend. This gave Kieran somewhat of a free reign, although Lucas Halton got knocked into torpor by Hektor, where he was promptly eaten. Richard struggled somewhat, being trapped between Kierans intercept and Pauls Warghouls, but he did manage to do some damage with votes, and even regain some pool. Paul gathered Warghouls which battered Andys minions into Torpor, however Andy managed to tool up Yasmin the Black with two Biothaumaturgic Experiments and a couple of Corporeal Reserviors meaning that the Warghouls couldn’t go forward. Graham had little pressure now, but his bleed seemed to slow up, meaning that Steves wriggling kept him in the game, Kieran managed to put more pressure on Richard, who with his expensive minions getting battered in Torpor, cracked, giving Kieran the only VP before time was called.

Kieran 1.5vps, Andy 0.5vps, Graham 0.5vps, Paul 0.5vps, Steve 0.5vps, Richard 0vps.

Current stands are thus
