Well for the 13th Anniversary I drafted up a large deck that everyone could play from, consisting of 30 Vampires, and 270 Library cards - it is listed on the deck page.
We managed to play two games with the Anniversary Deck, both of which seemed to work well - shows that Happy Families works well.
Game 1
Sam > Stevan > Graham > Paul > Andy
This game ended as a time out, after Stevan and Andy had been ousted. It was interesting to see different cards and vampires played, indeed Graham claims to have some deck ideas so also inspiring it seems.
Game 2
Sam > Andy > Paul > Graham
This game we added in a ‘Trading Phase’ where as active player you could have one trade with any other player, for any number of cards. The Trading Phase was after Untap and before Masters, and it tended to be mostly cross table, and obviously slowed down as the defences got weaker, but was quite interesting none the less.
This game ended with a sweep for Paul as he controlled the votes, and had a .44 Magnum which kept most minions at bay.
