This week we welcomed Nick Tsiavos to the Bath Vtes Group, although I am not sure if it was a warm welcome, as we will see. We also had five other players, so a good turn out.

Game 1
Stevan Akunanse Toolbox > Nick Lasombra Bruise/Bleed > Andy Matata > Sam Ahrimanes 2007 > Graham !Nos Black Hand > Kieran Petaniqua & allies.

Nick hammered into Andy quickly, with Arms of the Abyss/Entombment quickly knocking Matata into torpor. However a cross table rescue soon put Matata back into action. I put out Howler and The Siamese, both of whom worked over Grahams minions, who were playing POT ANI combat. My Erciyes Fragment also looted Grahams ashheap for additional Carrion Crows and Raven Spies. Graham put a few dents into Kieran, who’s Theft of Vitae combat was scuppered by Immortal Grapple. Stevan had little pressure, so got to build up his minions, and start to counteract Nicks growing votes. Andy battled on against repeated DOM bleeds, and some painful combats. He even survived the calling of two Conservative Agitation, and as he did so he found his combat mojo. Matata battered the last of Nicks minions into torpor, and then worked over mine as well – prevention stopping Howlers plans. I could do little, other than keep quiet. Graham had two minions, but they were quite battered as well, with Kieran not looking any better. Stevan however could move forward, ousting Nick just before the time out.

Game 2

Stevan left at this point, so we went down to five players.

Graham Tzim Bleed > Sam Mexican Sisters > Kieran Petaniqua & allies > Andy !Malk toolbox > Nick Enkidu Rush

A very violent game, with everyone having some sort of combat option apart from me. The sisters tried to survive and bloat, but Graham had enough bleed and intercept to prevent that, and I was quickly ousted. It then looked like the table would quickly collapse, as everyone had low pool and some vicious combat options. However Enkidu got torpored in combat with The Rose, who also went down. However Andy diablerised Enkidu, which stopped Nicks plans quite quickly. Kieran sent Ossian and Renegade Garou out on various sorties, however Petaniqua was suffering, and she also went to torpor. Andy moved forward slowly, as Nick still had some fight left, with Mitru the Hunter proving difficult to get past. Indeed there were no further ousts as the clocked ticked down.

This Saturday (29th Sept) is the Lords of the Night release event in Swansea, to which Kieran, Nick and Richard are all going, so good luck to them, looks like it should be a fun event.
Saturday 6th October is the UK National Cup, for which we should have a good Bath showing, with Andy, Graham, Paul, Sam, Kieran, Nick (+ Nicks friend) all going along.
Then Saturday 27th October is still on, I am updating the post on the Bath website with those who are coming.

Next week Stevan is busy, and we will have to see who else is available.
