Snakes on a Table is a fun deck to play and has performed very well during local games. This deck has earned me more game wins and VP’s than all my other decks combined. I have yet to try it out at a tournament which I hope to remedy shortly. The deck is prone to the ‘All Star’ effect as losing Nefertiti means your game is pretty much over unless its really early in the game and you can maybe bring out another (unlikely). Its the deck I can no longer play in Bath as everybody hates it to much. One of my many Salubri experiments, this is probably one of the most effective (hardly surprising, since it utilizes Dominate). Basically, the deck capitalizes on the fact that people tend to tap out against Spirit Marionette. Tapping is, however, a risky strategy when faced with dom bleeds and the ability of Change of Target to effectively make people waste their Wakes. If they don’t tap out they can always be stolen with Marionette. The deck can easily have three or four minions with superior Obeah: give Ian Forestal Spontaneous Power for superior and another !Tremere Infernal Pact. The combat package can have several versions and in this one relies on combat being at close. Clearly it could utilize some Tha or For. Only played in the local metagame a couple of times (picking up a couple of vps) but highly effective in some other outings. Currently retired. I have seen a more interesting version of this concept by Matt Green that has effectively bolted NEC onto the Salubri / !Tremere combo and, I think, has less Dom (unusual for Matt) and some interesting extra cards. My oldest and most finely tuned bleed deck (hard to believe there are only 13 different library cards). Attrition is the key, via Aching Beauty and Change of Target, plus knowing when to tap out to push a big bleed through via Aura Reading, Revelations or Fleurdumal. Responsible bleed is achieved via zero stealth and Change of Target, although Aching Beauty can be a pain for those who are bounced to in the later game. The deck is low on table interaction, but fairly efficient at ousting one or more players.
